Bonnie Hovel, MSW, ACSW*, LICSW**
Bonnie Hovel is the owner and Principal Consultant of GroupWyse with over 15 years of experience providing
contracted services for healthcare, nonprofit and public organizations. She guides leaders and work groups using practices
and tools that will continue to benefit them in achieving their goals. She helps leaders coach employees to
bring out their best by aligning values and positioning individuals and their projects for success,
emphasizing implementation and supporting projects from start to finish for long-lasting results.
Bonnie specializes in real-time, collaborative action planning to increase engagement and help clients
jump to the next level of achievement. She provides counseling and business coaching using proven assessment and
development tools such as the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP), the Emotional Intelligence
(EQ) In Action Profile and Myers Briggs Personality Inventory (MBTI).

Professional Associate
John Park, MBA
Senior Consultant John Park has a proven track record as a Change Agent, Mentor and Coach, Facilitator and Trainer. He provides valuable, practical guidance to
managers and employees in Organizational Development principles, implementing System Redesign, mentoring and coaching leaders, and
providing facilitation and training to help the organization meet its performance goals and standards resulting in improved employee morale.
Experience
John was the lead consultant for VA Puget Sound Health Care System Social Work retreats held in
2011 and provides ongoing assistance for several projects with VA Service Line Leadership, including:
- leading a reorganization and management improvement project for the Community Housing and Outreach Program
- facilitating the first Strategic Planning process for the Surgery Service Line
- facilitating the General Medicine Leadership Retreat
- assisting Rehabilitation Medicine in developing a workable plan to more effectively provide Physical Therapy Services to veterans
- coaching and mentoring selected supervisory staff in the Community Housing and Outreach Program and Rehabilitation Medicine
- facilitated a planning retreat for the leadership team of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence (West)
resulting in improved focus on goals and objectives and better communication among staff members at two locations
Prior to working as an independent consultant, he had 29 years of managerial experience in increasingly responsible positions with the VA Puget Sound Health Care System,
an active tertiary teaching system, affiliated with the University of Washington that has one of the largest research programs in the VA system.
He directed the Health Plan Management Service Line of 176 employees, which was highly respected for efficient and effective
management, good customer service, high Employee Satisfaction Survey results, developing managers and supervisors, succession
planning, and making change rapidly and well. His practical application of Organization Development principles and practices focused on engaging
the employees and resulted in improving the quantity and quality of work accomplished with the same resources and improved employee morale.
